Prince rescued

After around 50 hours of struggle, Prince came out of the pit, kudos for army men to have worked so hard to get him out of the trouble. It must have been a hell of a time for his family too waiting for him to be rescued. The kid just aged 5 years survived such a long period in the pit that when he came out he had turned 6. Jokes apart to spend 50 hours for a 5-year child is something that is quite unbelievable. People all over the world were glued to their TV sets praying for his rescue. Eventually when he came out on Sunday evening at around 8 pm, it was quite a relief for all his well wishers. I have heard that CM - Haryana, Mr. Hooda has announced a sum of Rs. 2 lacs for the kid & his family. Another 5 lacs of sum has been announced by STAR News, ZEE News will be taking care of his education.

The whole episode has turned a blessing in disguise for the child. I just wonder what psychology does we humans have, that we do have a sympathy for a kid who fell in to the pit as the event was highlighted by the media. We also know that there are lot of kids around the same age who might be in much more pain & trouble but we do not bother to do any kind of charity/work for those underprivileged as we do not have any circumstantial evidence of their suffering being shown on TV for such long periods. Just hoping that the other underprivileged kids also get their share of food, education& other necessities of life. Best of luck…
