Maruti to launch New Zen - MR Wagon

MR Wagon from Maruti Suzuki

Maruti Udyog Ltd. is set to launch their latest new product MR Wagon in the Indian market in next week which is going to be replacement for their one of the most successful models Zen.

The same model was launched in Japan in 1999. The company is expected to have done massive changes to this model and it would be somewhat closer in looks to the Wagon R model.

This latest car should come in similar capacity of 1100 CC engine and the power output is expected to be around 64 bhp which will make it more powerful than existing Zen and will be placed in between company`s cars, Alto and Wagon R. The company is expected to price this car between Rs. 3.2 L - Rs. 3.5 L and several variants should be made available to target different segments of the market.

    This is a great news, am eager to know by when are they planning to launch this new car. I am planning to go for new car and was disappointed to see zen withdrawn and was compromising on Santro.

    I am very eager to see the new look ZEN. This looks to be good. But it is like combination of Matiz and mini Innova. Let me know when this new car will be in hyderabad market.

    Hi, The MR- Wagon model is looks pretty good from front, have good power as compared to previous model zen, even prices are good for this sporty look model. but when i see the back of this car,it is really bad and made me to change my decision to get this car.

    The New Zen Estilo is going to be launched on the 5th of december, and the delivery of the car will start from the 15th of december on first come first serve basis. Beleive me the car seems to be too good and yes not to forget MARYTI product is alway’s value for money and maintainence free.

    I am already using ZEN from 1997 and was looking for a change but after getting news for launch of new model of ZEN I am eagerly waiting for “THE ZEN”. We all in our family are users of Maruti Products and totaly satisfied by the performance.

    I want to know What is the tentative date on which maruti launching this exiciting zen in india, I am planing to buy a small car if maruti is launching thier ne ZEN I would rather wait and have look and go for it. Is there any chance of launching it in diesel varient?

    This Zen is not a zen. I am having a 2002 Zen and I chose the zen over santro becos santro is only a city car, but zen is good in city and fabulous on highway. but this estillo is just wagonr why did they do this, I wish they used the old zen engine in an Alto atleast in the highend models so that we have rev-happy engine again to drive
