Talking of CO2, the Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI) released two commercials in May (to coincide the release of Al Gore’s ‘An Inconvienient Truth’), promoting CO2 as not only beneficial about also so darn cuteee! Both of them feature, happy people and animals on the beach and smiling children piling up into cars, and in the back ground we hear the tag line, “Carbondioxide. They call it pollution, we call it life”. CEI promotes itself as ‘a nonprofit public organisation, dedicated to advancing the principles of free enterprise and limited government’. A little research on the internet reveals that, it is probably a well funded front for big petroleum, plastic and motor corporations, to counter globalwarming, conservation of natural resources and health and safety standards. What else can you say about an organisation, which says “the air is actually getting cleaner” !!!
