India’s first premium Sports back Chevy SRV

Yesterday while coming back from office I saw one very trendy car, somehow just managed to get a quick look and recognize the Chevrolet’s logo. Searched the net to find about the model and was quite surprised to find out that the car was Chevrolet’s SRV which has been launched in July and I did not know about it as I have not seen/heard about it earlier. There seems to no advertising at all, neither in newspapers or TV/FM or may be I missed it. Whatever the case maybe it looks absolutely amazing and gives a very sporty look. The spoiler at the back makes it even more trendy.

Touted as India’s first premium Sports back, the five-door SRV is said to combine modern Italian design, a number of standard features and roomy interior. Primarily targeted at young professionals, who are getting more and more attracted to design-oriented products. The SRV is a global product sold across Europe, North America, Canada and Asian markets that has been re-engineered for India based on extensive testing across the country to meet the specific needs of our customers as well as local driving conditions.

The vehicle is priced at Rs.6.97 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi) and 7.51 lakhs with some added features which makes it qute an expensive considering the size of the car.
