Google launches Co-op search engine

October 25th, 2006 by gaurav | Filed under , , , .

Google has added a new service - Google Co-op to their ever-increasing list of services which lets an individual create own search engine. It allows you to place a search box and display search results on your website in your own design and simultaneously use Adsense along search results to make money from the resulting traffic.

The best thing about the whole concept is that it lets you specify or prioritize the websites you want to include in searches. One can invite friends to contribute and build a search engine for your community.

You can submit your google coop search engines to coop search if they are not already showing up in the results.

The Coop Search will search for other google coop search engines. You can take a look at http://coopsearch.blogspot.com
