Ganguly finds place in Indian Team

After a gap of ten months former Indian captain Saurav Ganguly has managed to regain his place in Indian cricket team for tests to be played against South Africa in SA. His recall to the team can be attributed to India’s poor show in SA in current one day series where in the youngsters who were given a chance to prove their mettle failed without showing any fight in the series. Whether his average performance on dead pitches in the current domestic season can be improved in SA will be a test of his ability and perseverence to bounce back.

I guess this is going to be the last chance for him to stretch his career for an year or so and his aim should now be to let his willow talk and put forward his candidature for the coming world cup.

No doubt, I am quite pleased with this decision not because he has playing well but because he has been given a chance to get back especially the way he was sidelined from the team.
