Calls can be made to regular telephone numbers for that you have to use SkypeOut which requires you to have credits in your account. Call charges for US is just $0.023 which is approximately Re.1 per minute…

The most interesting thing about Skype which similar software does not offer is that it is available for PDAs using Pocket PC.
