But they were desrving winners. New Zealand was playing so well that they won all the their league games until Pakistan defeated them in the semis. Uhh..now ICC wants to earn some more money and what they can do is to reorganise semi-finals again but they did not do that.
It happens so many times in an event that deserving winners go out early but the event organiser does not put back those candidates into the fray again.
Fame Gurgukul has done just the opposite by giving 3 of the contestants a chance to get back into the show who have already exited from it. They are trying to earn from the SMS scam they are running where they are charging Rs.6 per SMS whereas a normal SMS costs Re.1 and audience can choose their favourite contestant. Last week saw the audience SMSing around 4 million SMSes for the show. Audience is blindly wasting their money on such shows wherein they are gaining nothing and promoting such activities.
If this was not enough the have got 3 wildcard entires into the show, it seems that they don’t want to end the show but keep the money flowing in through such cheap ways.

And again what has happened yesterday is that the contestants did not vote out anybody. they put their votes to both Arpita and Rex.
What was that all about?? just to extend the show by two more weeks.
The way Rooprekha was crying, it was sure that the whole thign was a set up and she was feeling pretty bad about it.

Ila Arun is earning money by playing with the audiences. They will earn more than 5 crore this way (By SMS’s) and distribute only 2 crores to the participanta. Now I am sure this is another business to extort money. These people are no diffrent than conmens & gangsters who extort money. At a time when our nation is facing a crisis due to earthquake these people are busy mining money from people like us. We as as people collectively shoul reject this dramabazi
I still cannot understand why Qazi has been retained in the show till this point. GOes to show that the people who are voting have forgotten what the show is about. In my opinion, Qazi cannot not only not-sing, but does not look any good either….what with John Abraham saying that he might be seen acting in Bollywood, soon…Ha!Ha!!!
I think the show should now close with Rex and Ruprekha being declared winners.

I am very sorry about these people saying all bad about Qazi. Every body have their own choices. These days who ever sell is the best. Qazi is making money for the show. So he is the best. How can you compare Indian classical with Bhangra? It is the matter that who makes more money. My dears, It is show biz for ordenary peoples, it is time for POP not for sur and sangeet.

Qazi Touqeer, the young lad from Kashmir, landed at Fame Gurukul to try his luck at singing though he aspired to be an actor. Initially, he wasn’t singing too well and used to be snubbed by all and sundry.
Maybe that is the reason Qazi took upon himself the daunting task of proving to the world that he can sing well and excel in that. And with a lot of painstaking rehearsals and excercise, Qazi is today close to the crown he will finally share with another accomplice to become the ‘Fame Jodi’.
No fellow accomplice used to like him because of his mediocre crooning. Now, he is singing very well and is the darling of the masses, in general. If not how would he have secured a handsome 44 lakh votes of the 68 lakh votes received. He is now in a commanding position and as Shankar Mahadevan rightly said, ‘has the power to chuck his fellow contestants based on their performance.� The others also accept that. It was observed that Rex recently said, ‘Qazi’s going to the danger zone spelt trouble for us.’ And Ruprekha said, ‘Qazi is a super star.’
There are lakhs of young people like Qazi who are bad starters. They need to learn a lot from this lad who has worked his way to stardom. We are proud of you, Qazi.

I realised,What I feel about the Gurukul contestants, is same for almost everyone…
ARPITA- To think of it, she is perfect.. looks good, sings good, performs well and is very dedicated, focus and hard-working; but still all of us dislike her. Maybe because she is insecure, criibs too much, maybe a little too selfish. She came in our bad books for voting out ARIJIT and We started hating her because of her anti-qazi propagandas.
REX- WE loved him, maybe if not more but almost as much as Qazi, we all were sad when he was voted out and we all were in tears when he came back again. We had a soft corner for him…” he learnt to smile because he had faced so many hardships” We all know REX’s mom, sisters and all. He was like a part of family. But then he started scheming with Arpita, Voted out Arijit, reacted very badly to Arijits allegations, His ‘RUPU’ drama was cute for a while.. but it went overboard and then he turned anti-qazi. Well now he is almost pleading and maybe emotionaly blackmailing us to vote him back. We are not liking his new avataar… but still all of us are confused, can we really hate REX.. apna REX
ROOPREKHA:Nobody realy liked her, she was the socalled ‘nakchadi’ , her bad hindi made her look like one insensitive, cold and rude monster. Mr javed favouring RR and RR becoming a top-students was always taken with a pinch of Salt. She came into focus because of REX and we all thought… why does REX likes her, maybe her blushing, her simplicity and her inability to react in a better way, touched her hearts somehow. Rooprekha is damn good singer, had better voice… but we realised it only after we started disliking arpita. But RR touched our hearts by voting for both REX and Arpita, maybe we wouldn’t have considered it a big deal if.. Javedji wont have pointed it out. RR’s crying touched our souls and all of a sudden she became a deserving candidate. We like her because she has a heart of gold.
QAZI- well, He has been discussed again and agin and I am an ardent supporter, Its wrong to say that he is not a talented singer, he is just a ‘not’ trained singer… with proper training he will be the best. But there is something about QAZI which touches something deep down inside, we can relate to him, it is something beyond his looks…. In one word I can define it as his INDIANness.
He is a manifestation of our beliefs, our philosophies, our culture. There is something special about people in the whole Indian subcontinenet ( I would like to include pakistan and bangladesh too, as they also have the same values, and I was very happy to read the messages of our pakistani friends ) We value honesty, kindness and determination. We have the ‘nevar say die’ spirit. In times of adversities, instead of loosing hope, we find new strength to move on and on. We respect our enemies and believe in fair dealings. We have faith in ourselves and our god. It is beyond us to loose our self respect, our modesty. Maybe in todays world we have forgotten our true nature, but it is still there in our sub conciousness, our hearts. Maybe we dont behave like this in our day to day life, but… we still respect and appreciate others who have these qualities.
I think it is wrong to say that we indians ( & pakistanis ) like to promote a loosing ’cause’ or we are ‘Emotional Fools’ or we dont know how to judge talents.
I think we just listen to our hearts and our hearts still have that indianness….
I think, my message is already too long…. but I must add one more thing.
In Indian Idol we found that indianness in ‘Ravinder Ravi’-the painter guy… but he was voted out because he didnt have the courage to move on.. he count take the evryday crisizing… and he was only too glad to go away… But QAZI, he is a miracle boy…. Inspite of all criticisms he Survived…. and that why he is A WINNER.
I think our producers copy the format of American reality shows and expect similar results and when this doesn’t happen they behave angrily and think we “the Janta” are unpredictable. In reality, Our values are more deep routed than the american counterparts. They are materilistic… We are sentimental. We have and will always vote with our hearts. We vote for survivors, people who are trying to fight back, people who are moving against the tide, people who are strong, people who are defying the usual norms….. and yet doing it with a SMILE. If U guys see SA RE GA MA, why do we like himesh reshamiya… even though he has lost the most…

Yes i agree that it is shamethat Qazi is apart of fame jodi and shame to all the judges and nation. This is a bad approach of public to rule out the talented just for the desires of an unbdeserving candidate. The reason as obvious for the high public votes Qazi received is communial support as he was the only candidate representing his community and so mean are people to knock out the real deserving candidates for communal reasons. this is moulik here.well i amagree with your view that these shows are simply earning money not only by so called voting but also by the astronomical ly increasing trp rating of these reality shows well it must have known to you that sa re ga ma little champs has had the highest trp rating of 4.7 in its final ever in any show. saas bahu thi has its max of 1.7-1.8 but 4.7 was really amazing.so you right to say that it is bullshit.
but they r also giving youa platform to prove yourself.oktell me the other way of getting so much fame by any other medium i assume you can not be an actor.so this is not truly bullshit.
