Estilo (MR Wagon) to be lauched in December

One of my earlier posts - Maruti to launch New Zen - MR Wagon wherein the date of launch was not mentioned but now it has been confirmed by IndiMoto’s post that it is going to be launched on 5th December, 2006. The car which was named MR Wagon in Japanese market will be named ‘Estilo’ in India which means ’style’ in Spanish. The car is going to be positioned as a stylish hatch and will be launched in a fashion show by designer Tarun Tahiliani.

The Estilo is a departure from the jelly bean design of the old Zen and is a monoform design with a small engine compartment which release incredible interior space. Infact the Estilo is rumoured to be as spacious if not more than its big brother, the Swift. Some of the features of the Estilo include: same engine as Wagon R ( 1061cc, 16 valve, 64ps ),instrument panel in 3D effect using vivid colors, very good legspace front and rear and a brand new AC system.
