Another FM radio Channel in Delhi

Another FM radio channel might put one off but this 95.0 FM channel is there with a difference, there are no advertisements, no Radio Jockeys (RJs). I just came to know about this radio station todays itself and it goes on and on without any ad / rj being there.

I am not sure when this channel was launched , I have tried to locate information about this channel but was unable to find any information on internet. While searching I found a link : Radio Stations in Delhi, India which lists the following stations in Delhi :
• 666 kHz All India Radio
• 819 kHz All India Radio
• 1017 kHz All India Radio
• 1368 kHz All India Radio
• 102.6 MHz All India Radio
• 106.4 MHz All India Radio

• 90.4 Radio Jamia,
• 91.0 MHz Radio City, Delhi
• 93.5 MHz Red FM, Delhi
• 96.9 MHz Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC)
• 98.3 MHz Radio Mirchi, Delhi
• 105.6 MHz Gyan Vani, Delhi

Anyway ad-free radio seems a good deal for music lovers and hard time for other FM stations such as Red FM, Radio Mirchi, Radiocity. The point that immediately comes to my mind that how will & for how long will they survive. I would say they would require a business model something like Google which introduced Adsense to keep their search engine running.

Another interesting informationthat I found is from here :

- Radio has a reach of 56% and there is a distinct skew towards males.
- Radio Mirchi is the most popular station and is tuned by people in SEC A and B.
- People listen to FM at home (70%), while driving (32%), at public places (9%) and at the office (7%).
- Almost 51% of the people listen to FM for an average time of one hour and another 39% listen to FM for a longer period of 1-3 hours.
- Sunday listenership is dramatically low with only 10% of the people tuning in to FM vs. weekdays where the number of tune-ins is as high as 94%.
- Majority of the people listen to Hindi film songs (63%), followed by Hindi pop (40%), remixes (37%) and English pop (33%).

    We had 2 songs playin on 95 FM on 12th April in the evening…

    1. Played at - 5:20 pm (approx)- fast music (gal n guy singin)

    2. Played at 5:25 pm (approx)

    In between these 2 songs we had the GOLMAAL - Title track playin…

    Could anyone please lemme know, which are the 2 songs ?

    when u start dwnloading the song/file, come to the downloading coloumn n rite click on the file which is being dwloaded by you!

    ..afta rite clikkin, go to
    “SEARCH” ..and den click on the “SEACRH: ‘the file name’” ..n let LW search for the bettr resources for the currently dwnloding file!……dis will increase ur dwnloading speed….n will help u connecting faster!!!

    dunno how many people know this, but the song “kitni der tak” from delhi heights is a copy of teh song “how long” by dire straits. the guitar in teh starting is EXACTLY the same. and so are the lyrics and the tune.
    guys, download “how long” by dire straits from limewire and listen to the similarities…

    Lyrics - jaane kaun hai woh..le gayi meri dil ko gori gori nakhare wali + mere neendein churane wali ++ english lyrics as well..
