Air Deccan, India’s first no-frill, low-cost airline website has become a target of their own low pricing strategy. As soon as they announce any scheme, people start rushing to their website in search of air tickets for Rs.1 onwards and their website becomes unavailable or so slow that it almost becomes almost impossible to look for fares.
Its time for them to upgrade their servers + technology to offer the very best if they want to remain in contention for the best low cost airline in India.

In the early days of eBay, they had similar issues with their servers… one of the first tasks that Meg Whitman did when she took over eBay was to upgrade their servers and keep it running 24/7. If Deccan wants to be successful with their e-offerings, they need a good CTO

Air Deccan should not even start any offering till they are satisfied at their end about jamming of the website. It’s a question mark on your reputation.
