A mail to Hutch Feedback

November 24th, 2006 by gaurav | No Comments | Filed in ,

My Hutch mobile connection goes out of service in basement of our office building. Today I visited their website and posted my feedback about the network issue. I have got an automail from them saying that they will reply to me in next 2 days, lets see what solution they have for my issue.

Below is the text of what I wrote to them :

Hi
I am having Hutch connection for sometime now, I was a prepaid customer when I started with you but later converted to be a postpaid customer.

I am working in a MNC based at Sec 59,Noida, we have our cafetaria in basement of our building where Hutch network goes out of reach where as Airtel works absolutely fine.

Can you please let me know if you have any plans to upgrade you network here coz our cafetaria serves to around 350 people at once and if we take a rough percentage of Hutch users in a cafe during 1-3 pm it could be roughly 30-40% people having Hutch connection in our company then you are losing out on serious business as these people cannot make and receive calls during 30-45 minutes they spent there everyday.

I am sure lot of other MNCs who are based in Noida, have their cafetaria or other depts. working from basement areas where Hutch connection goes out of service. I would you request you to please upgrade your network which creates positive vibrations for Hutch rather than losing out on customers to Airtel.

I hope my spending time in writing to you make sense that I am a serious customer of yours and would not like to discontinue your services without giving a knock at your door.

Thanks

Regards

Dhoom2
Yash Raj Films is releasing its latest offering, Dhoom 2, today. The monopolistic attitude by the production house have made Multiplexes to raise ticket prices for the movie. In Bangalore and Mumbai, the rates are Rs 250 (up from Rs 220) and in Nagpur and Pune, they are Rs 190 (up from Rs 150). Yash Raj Films is also believed to be demanding a larger revenue share from box office collections.

One can have a brief preview of Dhoom2 on the website which also lets you listen to songs online.

Bipasha Basu is online now
Bipasha has started her own website that is to be edited by herself. All the money earned through auctions, a section on site will be donated to the “Make a Wish” Foundation. It has other sections such as gallery, a diary(more of a blog stuff), biography, filmography, media center and a contact page as well.

Just wondering whether she will be able to keep the site updated, as she had launched another website for promotion of her movie Apaharan which is online here with just 3-4 posts.

Ubiko Robot still far from replacing humans

Ubiko - An autonomous robot

Ubix of Japan has developed a new robot which is known as Ubiko. The inventors have a goal for the Ubiko so that it could to replace humans for various tasks such as welcomnig clients, promoting products.

Ubiko can be controlled by voice despite being an autonomous robot, but further work must be done to improve on the rather annoying synthesized voice before it can replace a busty blonde with a million dollar smile. Those who are in the customer service front line may not worry as it is quite expensive to hire Ubiko which can be hired for around Rs.40000 for two hours of job.
