Olympics preparation in China

A little while ago we all heard about our wonder boy Budhia Singh who amazed everyone with his record breaking performance to complete a 65 km marathon in record time by a four year old kid.

India’s most influential human rights group, the National Human Rights Commission, declared that the young runner could be a victim of child abuse. There were comments all around that the he has been treated inhuman and what not.

But if you look at these images, one can understand why China win so many gold medals in Olympics and India never comes close to it. We have to understand the quote, “No Pain, No Gain”.

These little wonders really amazes me with kind of pain they bear and then one day make their country proud and in the process realize their dreams.

Yahoo Mail Beta

Recently launched Yahoo Mail beta offers a new look and modern outlook type smarter, slicker interface that makes emailing fast and easy. The beta version offers mail preview just below the message list window.

Using Yahoo Mail Beta for the first time

It works almost similarly to windows email client version such as MS Outlook & Outlook Express. One easily drag and drop multiple emails from a folder to another. It also makes deleting emails a much easier task as the windows does not refreshes itself after each operation. The mail options more or less the same as were provided earlier though they boast of better spam protection. Search feature though not as expected but still does quite a descent job.

The only problem that I am currently facing is that it does not work that great with 800×600 resolution, 1024×768 seems to be the minimum that one should have to make best use of the newer Yahoo Mail Beta.

All in all this seems a fair deal after I came to know that Rediff launched a similiar kind of functionality quite sometime back.
