Why I decided to sell the Laptop

I got this wonderful piece of laptop(Dell Inspiron 6000) from US. I have been wanting to have a laptop for quite sometime now. I worked little bit on it and it was fun working on it , you can understand getting your hands on shining silver metallic notebook. Everything was quite good about considering that it was not that expensive apart from he fact that its sound quality left a lot to be desired.

Now i come to the point that why i decided to sell - I had wanted to install Windows XP Professional on it(as I wanted to have Dot net framework + Microsoft SQL Desktop Edition) and it had preinstalled Windows XP Media Center Edition. I tried searching on the net how to go about it and I read on several forums that after installing XP Pro some people faced issues with drivers & it does not work properly with the any outisde version of XP and as there was no CD provided along I finally decided to sell it and get myself a desktop PC. So if anyone wantes to get a laptop they should tell in advance their preference of OS before buying. I still have to wait for sometime before I get a better piece.
